Where To Look For MLM Leads

Finding good MLM leads takes a lot of practice and working with people before you really start to get effective at it.  After a while of being in the business you will be able to tell how effective a new person would be when you start to talk to them.  When you are just getting started, though, it can be very hard to figure out who you should pursue and who is just going to be a waste of time.

One character trait I have found to almost always be associated with people who are not successful is the trait of always having an excuse.  When you ask about their circumstances there is always something beyond their control that caused their lives to turn out the way they did.  If they are unemployed it is because the boss had it in for them or the company did not see their potential.  Let me tell you, American business is crying for people who will come to work every day and give an honest effort.  Sometimes there may be other reasons but for the majority of people I have found if they get fired it is because they really didn't work very hard.

There are a lot of people who want to be successful but very few who are willing to do the work required to reach that success.  Instead of wasting your time talking about your opportunity these people should just buy a lottery ticket and hope for the best.  They are not going to do the work required but they will always have an excuse about why they can't do what needs to be done.

In contrast to this is the person who does get the job done.  The best place to look for new members of your organization is in places where people can take control of their destinies instead of just letting life happen.  Sales is a good example of a job where a person has to be driven to succeed.  The only people who can make a living in sales are the people who can keep focused and do the work.

The best place to look for candidates is people who are already successful selling.  This can be any type of selling.  Maybe the woman at the cell phone store has a great way with people and is looking to improve her lot.  Maybe the guy selling cars wants more opportunities than what he is getting now.  These people would be prime candidates to approach about your MLM business because they have already shown a willingness to be self-motivated.  They could just sit back on their heals and wait for customers but if they are pro-active, they are showing they have the drive that is needed.

Always be on the look out for people who are showing the traits that can lead to a successful career in MLM.  They need to be self-starters and be willing to take control of their lives.  They do not make excuses for what happens.  They don't blame people, instead they take responsibility and look for ways to improve their lot in life.

They are always open to new ideas and they are willing to invest in themselves.  People who read books about improving their skills are the ones who will make a difference.
